Ruth nugent, 71, died Sunday, August 9th, 2015. She was born on October 15, 1943. Today God chose to bring His angel home. We will miss her with all of our hearts, everyday we will carry her within our hearts and memories. She has gone to prepare a wonderful home in heaven for all of us. Soon we will join her and we will all live and rejoice forever in the Kingdom of our Lord. Ruth was a lifelong resident of Vidor and was dearly loved. She has 6 chidren, daughter, Beverly Ruth Willingham, daughter Linda Kay Travis, step-daughter, Marci Lynn Hamilton, son, Gary Lee Lamar, step-son, Monty Storm Nugent, step-son Michael Kent Nugent (deceased), 3 Godchildren, Michele Peddy, Edwin Peddy, and Nita Peddy, brothers, James Wesley Jones, Howard Edward Brummett (deceased), James Calvin Jones, Harvey Jones, sister, Judy Faye Leland, Linda Ann Lupo (deceased), 3 son-in-laws, David Willingham, Richard Travis, Lynn Hamilton (deceased), daughter-in-law, Tabitha Lamar, 9 grandchildren, Richard Travis II, Calvin Lamar, Christopher Davidson, Samantha Lacy, Lynda Lacy, Melisa Allbrigton, Billy Rice, Terry Brumback, and Nick Brumback, 14 great grandchildren and many foster children she loved. Visitation will be Thursday, August 13,2015 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Friday, August 14, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow at Del-Rose Cemetery in Vidor.
