Willie Sam Ikner

Sam Ikner, 78, of Vidor died Sunday, November 7, 2010 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Mobile, AL., Sam has lived in Vidor since 1968 and was a retired billing and accounting clerk with Temple Eastex Papermill in Evadale. Sam served his country in the United States Navy. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 10, 2010 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Williamson Cemetery in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 9, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home. Sam was preceded in death by his sons Gary and Richard Ikner, his parents and all of his siblings. He is survived by his wife Delores Ikner, sons James Ikner and wife Brenda, and Anthony Ikner all of Vidor, seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
