William Lee Layfield

William L. Layfield, 53, of Vidor died Friday, May 18, 2012 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Birmingham, AL, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. William was a roofer and served his country in the US Army. Interment was Thursday, May 31, 2012 at Houston National Cemetery. William is survived by his wife Diana Layfield daughters Ashley Schafer, Loretta Schafer and Carol Smith all of Vidor, TX, mother Luvertia Layfield and brother Shorty Layfield both of Birmingham, AL, 5 grandchildren.
