William Horace Brown

September 6, 1920 — December 24, 2008

Horace Brown, 88, of Vidor died Wednesday, December 24,2008 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Flatonia, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Horace was a superintendent for Marlen Construction. He served his country in the US Navy during WWII. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 29, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Sunday, December 28, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home. Horace was preceded in death by his wife Feranzie F. Brown. He is survived by his daughters Wanda L. Parks and her husband Don of Newton, TX, Kathy C. Anderson and her husband David of Pinewood, TX, sister Joy M. Nelson of Silsbee, TX, grandchildren David Stokely and Kristen Brannon, great-grandchildren Jordan Stokely, Richard Brannon, and Katlyn Brannon, special friends Bill Davis of Vidor, TX, and Fred Allen Davis of Montana.
