William E. Rossiter, 77, of Vidor died Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at his residence. A native of Dalhart, TX., he has lived in Vidor for 20 years and was a retired gas foreman with Palmer's Barge Line. William was a past deacon with Lakeview Baptist Church in Vidor. William served his country in the United States Army. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2013 at Oak Bluff Cemetery in Port Neches, TX., under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. William was preceded in death by his son William Edmond 'Bubba' Rossiter, Jr., and his brother Harold Rossiter. He is survived by his wife Mae Dean Rossiter, daughters Cherry Lynn Rossiter and Terri Whitten all of Vidor, brother Gene Rossiter of Shawnee, MO., four grandchildren, and eleven great grandchildren.
