William Earl Johnson, Jr.

William E. Johnson, Jr., 82 of Vidor died Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Healthsouth Rehabilitation Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Corsicana, TX., he has lived in Vidor since 1934 and lived at Lake Sam Rayburn for 20 years after his retirement as a supervisor from Texaco Refinery after 34 years of faithful service. William was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Vidor. He was a past Fire Chief, and Fire Marshall. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 26, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at 2:30 p.m. at Davis Cemetery in Beulah Springs, Texas. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, February 25, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Vidor. William was preceded in death by his first wife Margie Ann Long Johnson,daughter Suzanne Richmond and his parents William and Thelma Johnson, Sr. William is survived by his wife Joy Johnson, sons Pat Johnson and wife Gina, Mike Johnson and wife Danetra all of Vidor, and Ron Fontenot and wife Janet of O'Fallon, IL., daughters Debi Sherrod and husband Bobby of Vidor, Donna Kondo and husband Bill of Nederland, brother Johnny Johnson and wife Charlene of Orangefield, thirteen grandchildren: Matthew Richmond and wife Mandee, Jenni Richmond Walker and husband Eddie, Robby Sherrod, Abbi Sherrod Narramore and husband Hayden, Allison Kondo, Alan Kondo, Kyle Kondo, Ethan Johnson and wife Megan, Lydia Johnson, Stephanie White, Zach Johnson, Katherine Gomez and husband David, and Jeri Duncan and husband Caleb, nine great grandchildren: Keigan Walker, Elliot Duncan, Anthony Gomez, Fynn Hanson, Austin Cadroy Johnson, Spencer Duncan, Easton Johnson, Braelyn Narramore, and Paityn Narramore.
