William 'Dub' Clarence Emfinger, Sr.

W.C. "Dub" Emfinger, 92, of Vidor died April 17, 2010 at his residence in Vidor. A native of Vivian, LA, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Dub was a owner-operator of Emfinger Transportation and retired at the age of 80. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday, April 19, 2010 at Memorial Funeral Home. Dub was preceded in death by his wife Prenia Emfinger, son J.C. Emfinger and great granddaughter Missy Emfinger. He is survived by his sons Bill Emfinger and his wife Gayle, Charley Emfinger and his wife Debbie, Robert Emfinger and his wife Violet all of Vidor, TX, brother Harold Emfinger of Vidor, TX, sister Flora Gilbreath of Lake Conroe, TX, 13 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and 10 great great-grandchildren.
