William “Buddy” D. Kimbrell, III, of Vidor died Saturday, June 28, 2003 at his residence. A native of Pensacola, FL., he has lived in Vidor since 1995, and was a supervisor for the track division for Transglobal Solutions, Inc in Beaumont, Texas. Buddy served his country in the U.S. Army during Vietnam and was a lifelong member of the VFW in Channelview, TX. He was a member of Vidor Glory Church of God. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 1, 2003 at Vidor Glory Church of God under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, burial services will be Thursday, July 3, 2003 at 10:00 a.m. at Pensacola Memorial Gardens in Pensacola, Florida. Visitation will begin Monday, June 30, 2003 at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. He is preceded in death by a sister: Margaret Zakos. Buddy is survived by his wife Arla Jean Kimbrell of Vidor, TX., sons: William “Billy” D. Kimbrell IV, Jason Lee Kimbrell both of Pensacola, FL., daughter: Nancy “CeCe” Brown of Pensacola, FL., step-daughters: Jackie Holman of Granger, IN., Kate Ebright of Holt, MI., sister: Pat Sanders of Pasadena, TX., Martie Angelvich of Rockton, IL., Deborah Dearman of Hemphill, TX., Dolly Kimbrell of Pensacola, FL., 6 grandchildren and 1 step-grandchild.
