William Curtis Reel

Curtis Reel, 72, of Burkeville died Monday, April 1, 2013 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. A native of Groves, he was a longtime resident of Vidor and Kirbyville before moving to Burkeville in 2005. Curtis was a retired Water Well Driller. Curtis served his country in the United States Army. Cremation arrangements were entrusted with Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2013 at Toledo Baptist Church in Burkeville. Curtis was preceded in death by his son Dr. Michael Reel DVM, and his father John W. Reel, Jr. Curtis is survived by his wife Carol Ann Reel of Burkeville, sons Gary Reel, Rickey Reel and wife Teri all of Vidor, step-son Curtis Jackson and wife Heather of Mauriceville, mother Doris Reel of Burkeville, sisters Marilyn Barry of Burkeville, and Jo Karen Finch of Gilmer, TX., daughter-in-law Kim Kouba of Baytown, nine grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
