William "Bill" Jennings Stephenson

Bill Stephenson, 93, of Vidor died Wednesday, November 30th, 2016 at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Jasper, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Bill retired as an electrician for Firestone in Orange and was a good gardener, also he was an avid Houston Astro fan. He was a Pearl Harbor survivor and served on the U.S.S. Honolulu in the US Navy during WWII. Graveside services will be held at 3:30 pm Friday, December 2, 2016 at Woods Cemetery in Broaddus, TX. Bill was preceded in death by a daughter Collene Stephenson. He is survived by his wife of 73 years Ovis Stephenson of Vidor, TX, sons Walter Mitchell Stephenson and his wife Loyce of Bevel Oaks, TX, Marcus Stephenson of Vidor, TX, daughter Jamie Massey and her husband Ricky of Vidor, TX, brothers Larry Stephenson and Wayne Stephenson both of Jasper, TX, 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
