William "Bill" George, Jr.

Bill George, 84, of Vidor, TX died Tuesday, March 27th, 2018 at his residence. A native of Stuttgart, AR he was a longtime resident of Vidor who enjoyed Bluegrass music and going to Bluegrass festivals, Zydeco music and dancing, gardening and being outdoors. Visitation will be Monday, April 2, 2018 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Del Rose Cemetery. Bill is survived by 1 daughter; Carolyn Griffin of Vidor, 1 son; Bobby George and his wife Candace of Stuttgart, AR, 2 grandchildren; Corey and Diane Griffin, 2 great grandchildren; Bryce and Riley Griffin and 2 cousins; Sonny and Earl George of Stuttgart, AR. Bill was preceded in death by 1 daughter; Donna Courtney and 1 brother; Woodrow George.
