Wilbert Carl Moore, Sr.

Wilbert C. Moore, Sr., 74, of Vidor died Friday, February 29, 2008 at Oakwood Manor Nursing Home in Vidor. A native of Nacogdoches, TX., he has lived in Vidor for 66 years and was a retired self-employed painter. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. Burial services were held at 11:15 a.m. on Wednesday, March 5, 2008 at The Veterans Cemetery in Houston, TX. He is survived by his sons Carl Moore of Evadale, Wilbert Moore, Jr of Nederland, Wesley Moore of Silsbee, and Nathan Moore of Arkansas, daughters Wilma Jeffcoat, Sheila Shepherd, and Lisa Larson all of Vidor, and Lettie Moore of Beaumont, brother Hubert Moore of Vidor, sister Billie Spears of Vidor, and numerous grandchildren, and numerous great grandchildren.
