Wesley "Lynn" Blanton

Wesley "Lynn" Blanton, 59, of Vidor, TX died Monday, March 12th, 2018 at his home. A native of Denison, TX he was a longtime resident of Houston and former resident of Vidor. He graduated from Vidor High School and attended Lamar University and The University of Houston. Lynn was successful in marketing and sales for over 30 years. He worked for Innovative Reporting and Video, Barrister Reporting Services, Charlotte Smith Reporting and Nell McCallum & Associates. Lynn loved animals and was a volunteer coordinator of the Dallas Companion Animal Project. A memorial/tribute service will be Saturday, March 24, 2018 at Pine Forest Baptist Church with lunch to follow. Please come with stories to share. He is survived by 2 brothers; Gene Blanton and his wife Sheila of Dallas, TX, and David Blanton and his wife Sherry of Cleburne, TX, and 1 sister; Tina Teinert and her husband Terry of Vidor along with numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Lynn was preceded in death by his parents; Wesley Eugene and Gladys Blanton. The family request in lieu of flowers donations can be made to Pine Forest Baptist Church or your local animal shelter.
