Wendi Lynn Sawyer

Wendi Lynn Sawyer, 36, of Vidor passed away Sunday, December 16, 2007 at her residence in Vidor, surrounded by her family and friends after a lengthy illness. A native of Port Arthur, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Wendi attended Vidor High School and received her E.M.S. Certificate from Lee College in Baytown, TX. She was a longtime Paramedic in the Golden Triangle Area. Funeral Services will be held at 5:00 p.m. Thursday, December 20, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with cremation to follow. Visitation will be from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home. Wendi is preceded in death by her grandparents Dub and Lee Fountain. She is survived by her husband Tommy Sawyer and her son Andrew Sawyer, parents Mike and Dana Sykes, brother Mike “Mikie” Sykes, niece Haley Sykes all of Vidor, TX.
