Wendel 'Buddy' Melton Weaver

Wendel 'Buddy' Weaver, 76, of Vidor died Saturday, December 15, 2012 at Harbor Hospice House in Beaumont. A native of Florence, AL., he has lived in Vidor for 27+ years, and was a retired electronics warfare systems technician and mechanic with the United States Navy. Buddy served his country in the United States Navy during the Vietnam Conflict. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, December 19, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm on Tuesday, December 18, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Buddy was preceded in death by his wife Carolyn Weaver, son Anthony “Tony” Weaver and his brother Leonard Weaver. He is survived by his daughter Cynthia Henry of Vidor, brothers Coy Weaver of Florence, AL., and Denny Weaver of Killen, AL., one grandson: Adam Hall, and two great grandchildren: Brie-anne Perkins and Hayden Perkins.
