Wasson Lynn Hay, 84, of Vidor died Wednesday, August 23, 2006 at his residence in Vidor. A native of Vidor, he was raised and attended school in West Orange and lived in Vidor since 1956. Lynn retired from Dupont Orange Works after 30 years. He proudly served his country during WW II in the U.S. Army Air Corp. and the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Air Force. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, August 26, 2006 at First Baptist Church of Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 9:00 p.m. Friday, August 25, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home. Lynn was preceded in death by his wife Vivian Hay and son Kenneth Lynn Hay. He is survived by his son: Thomas Hay of Vidor, TX, and daughter: Janice Hay Smith of Jasper, TX, 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
