Walter Rowan Jordan, 73 of Vidor died Tuesday, April 2nd, 2019 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Walter was a member of the Pipefitter Local Union #195. He was restoring a 1926 Model T Pickup and his family said he was a master of all trades, a real renaissance man. They also said he was a real gear head, he enjoyed hot rods, motorcycles and could fix just about anything. His family was in the drilling business for generations and he was a real family man. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Saturday, April 6, 2019 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Sunday, April 7, 2019 at Turning Point Church in Vidor with burial to follow at Daniel Cemetery in Kountze, Texas. Walter is survived by his wife of 50 years Darlene Jordan of Vidor, TX, daughters Sherry Burford and her husband Dale, Christy Conner and her husband Steve all of Evadale, TX, son David Wayne Jordan and his wife Michelle of Vidor, TX, brothers Wayne Jordan of Las Vegas, NV, Johnny Jordan of Alaska and Jamie Jordan of Spring, TX, sister Brenda Allensworth of Warrren, TX, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren
