Walter Lee James

Walter L. James, 58, of Vidor died Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at the home of his son, Bryan Paul James, in Vidor. A native of Cotton Plant, AR., he has lived in Vidor for 40 years. Walter was a poker dealer at Isle of Capri Casino in Lake Charles, LA. Walter proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Funeral services will be Saturday, April 16, 2005 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, April 15, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Walter is survived by two sons, Brett Allen James and his wife Angie of Vidor, and Bryan Paul James and his wife Rhonda of Vidor, daughter-in law Jo-Jo James of Groves, grandchildren, Cory James of Groves, Kourtney and Kierstyn James both of Vidor, TX., and Kayla Brandon also of Vidor.
