Wade Lawrence Price

Wade Lawrence Price of Baytown, TX passed into the arms of his loving God on Saturday, October 30. Wade was a loving father and grandfather, brother and uncle, son and son-in-law. Wade was named for his grandfathers, Wade Holland Poole, of Starks, LA and Lawrence Price of Savanna, GA. Originally from Vidor, TX, Wade was born to William Rodney Price, Sr. and Adelia Margaret Poole Price on October 22, 1953, and was the younger brother to William Rodney, Jr. and Eva Laverne Price Singletary. He was 68 at the time of his death. Wade loved his family and extended family dearly. Having overcome many struggles in his life, Wade was always connecting cousins and friends from his childhood. Wade married Jill Edwards Price in 1987 and adopted Lori Ann as his own. He and Jill shared a beautiful relationship for many years, before her passing away in March 2021. Wade is survived by his brother, Rodney Jr., his daughter, Lori Ann Price, and granddaughters, Maya Grace, Marley Lynn, and McKenna Seleete. After Jill’s death this Spring, he posted the song lyrics: “When we lose our way, lead us to a place, Guide us with your grace to a place where we’ll be safe.” Wade’s faith was strong and we know he is safe and secure in the arms of his Savior. A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 27th, 2021, 12:00 Noon at the First Baptist Church, Vidor, with Dr. Jon Singletary and Pastor Terry Wright officiating.
