Vurless Washington Curl

Vurless W. Curl, 79, previous resident of Vidor, died Sunday March 16, 2003 at Brazos Oaks in Bryan, Texas. Funeral services will be held at Memorial Funeral Home od Vidor, Tuesday March 18, 2003 at 2:00 p.m. with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Monday March 17, 2003 at the funeral home. A native of the community of Gravelhill, TX., Mr Curl lived in Beaumont almost 30 years, before moving to Vidor for 31 years. He was a member of South Park Masonic Lodge #1165, a retired member of the Pipefitters Local #195, and Shriner with the El Mina Temple. Survivors include two sons, Dale Curl of Houston and Gary Curl of Conroe, one daughter, Sharon Curl Merrell of Bryan/College station; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
