Vickie Ellis

Vickie Ellis , 89, of Vidor died Tuesday, January 15th, 2013 at her residence. A native of Chattaooga, TN., she has lived in Vidor since 1952, and was a retired LVN with Dr. M. Sultana. Vickie was a 50 year member of the Order of the Eastern Star Chapter #914 in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 19, 2013 at Pecan Acres Baptist Church in Vidor under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, January 18, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home. Vickie was preceded in death by her husband Pete Ellis, Sr and her daughter Danna Kirkland. She is survived by her sons Pete Ellis, Jr and wife Carol, Keith Ellis all of Vidor, daughters Pam Lakey, Linda Nobles and husband Delton, Brenda York, Robyn Pokraka and husband Roger, Renee Williamson and husband Ricky all of Vidor, Regina Higgins and husband Jimmy of Groves, and her adopted daughter Becky Ardis and husband Kenneth of Vidor, twenty-three grandchildren, thirty-seven great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
