Vicki Decorte

Vicki DeCorte, 63, a proud mother, grandmother, and wife, of vidor passed away gracefully at her home on December 1, 2016. She was a longtime resident of Vidor and was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She enjoyed fishing, cooking, sewing, quilting gardening, being outdoors, and spending quality time with her family. There was nothing she would not do for her family. She was always a very strong, independent woman, and always put others first. She was a huge animal lover and was always helping strays. Her heart was too big to just turn and look the other way. She truly enjoyed the simple things in life. Funeral services will be held at 2 pm, Sunday, December 4, 2016, at Memorial Funeral Home. Burial services to follow at Williamson Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 6 pm , Saturday, December 3, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home for family and close friends only. Vicki is survived by her husband Joseph Guy DeCorte, Sr, her two sons Joseph Guy DeCorte, Jr., Adam DeCorte, her two daughters Rose Rayner, Lacey DeCorte, three grandchildren, Lain Courts, Landon DeCorte, Sarah DeCorte and two step grandkids, Austin Rayner and Addison Rayner. Her two brothers George Arrington and Preston Arrington and her sister Tommy Arrington.
