Vernon Obrey Cooper

Vernon Cooper, 82, of Vidor died Sunday, December 19, 2010 at his residence. A native of Mount Pleasant, TX, he was a lifelong resident of Beaumont, before moving to Vidor three years ago. Vernon served his country in the US Army during WWII and he was a gauge man in the offshore industry. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, December 27, 2010 at Restlawn Memorial Park. Vernon is survived by his son David Cooper of Vidor, TX, 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
