Vernon Charles Bearden, Jr

Vernon “Red” C. Bearden, Jr, 62, of Vidor died Monday, June 12, 2006 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Beaumont, TX, he has lived in Vidor since 1954. Vernon was a retired Pipefitter with Local Union #195. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, June 14, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation was held Tuesday, June 13, 2006 at Memorial Funeral Home. Vernon was preceded in death by two sons: Vernon “Bubba” C. Bearden III, and John Kurtis Bearden, brother: Roy Glen Bearden. He is survived by his son: Kasey Bearden of DeRidder, LA, daughters: Ginger Hanks, Shanna Jones, Larissa Bearden and Katie LeBlanc all of Vidor, TX, mother: Mabel Bearden of Mauriceville, TX, brothers: Walter Leon Bearden of Lumberton, TX, James Douglas Bearden of Vidor, TX, sister: Karen Marie Rollans of Mauriceville, TX, 11 grandchildren.
