Vernell 'Nell' 'Meme' Johnson

Nell Johnson, 75, of Mauriceville died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Ellinger, TX., she was a longtime resident of Mauriceville, and was a retired booth manager with Weingartens after 33 + years of service. Nell was a longtime member of West Orange Christian Church. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Farmers Cemetery in Silsbee. Visitation will begin at 11:30 am to 2:00 pm on Wednesday, January 2, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home. Nell was preceded in death by her parents Adlaie and Edna Treybig, brothers infants Clifton and Wilbert Treybig, Clarence Treybig, Clemons Treybig, Calvin Treybig, Sr., Cleward Treybig, and Carrol Lee Treybig, sisters Anna Mae Crider, Sybil Koether, Dorothy Vasut, and Eunice Wienken. Nell is survived by her husband Orland “Johnny” Johnson of Mauriceville, step-son Douglas Johnson of Winnie, TX., daughter Janice Waddell and husband Troy of Mauriceville, sister Sylvia Franke of Houston, and one grandson Shane Waddell, and her heart felt grandson Ryan Waddell, and numerous nieces and nephews.
