Verna Inez Barnett

Verna I. Barnett, 85, of Vidor died Wednesday, January 9, 2013 at Harbor Hospice in Beaumont. A native of Jasper County, TX, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Verna was a home health care provider. She was a member of Rose City Baptist Church and was affiliated with the Church of the Nazarene in Vidor. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 6:00 pm on Friday, January 11, 2013 at Memorial Funeral Home. Verna was preceded in death by her parents James and Winnie English, husband JD Barnett, 1 granddaughter, 4 sisters and 3 brothers. She is survived by her sons John Biscamp of Oakdale, LA, Robert Biscamp of Vidor, TX, Wayne Lott of Vidor, TX, daughters Betty Biscamp of Vidor, TX, and Winnie Fuller of LaGrange, TX, brothers Sidney English of Spring, TX, Walter English of Conroe, TX, Jimmy English of Montgomery, TX, 10 grandchildren 19 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
