Verda Elvie Day

Verda Day, 80, of Vidor, TX died Thursday, March 15th, 2018 at Clear Lake Regional Medical Center in Webster, TX. A native of Houston, TX she was a longtime resident of Vidor and a member of Victory Bible Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, dancing, sewing, cooking and going to church. Verda also enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She is survived by 1 daughter; Pamela Day of Vidor, 3 sons; Willie Day and his wife Danette, Tavis Day, and Byron Day and his wife Renee, all of Vidor. Verda is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren and 3 sisters; Minnie Gustafson, Ethel Teal, and Laura Odom. She was preceded in death by her husband; Willie Edward Day, 1 son; Tommy Day, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.
