Vera Irene Broussard-Brown

Vera Irene Broussard-Brown, 97, of Vidor, TX died Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019 at home surrounded by her family. A native of High Island, TX she was a longtime resident of Vidor and a member of First United Methodist Church of Vidor. Vera enjoyed reading books and Facebook, sewing and painting. She also loved going on trail rides with her family. Visitation will be Thursday, December 5, 2019 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Friday, December 6, 2019 at 2:00p.m. with interment to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Vera is survived by 1 daughter; Carolyn Marie Brown-Bair of Vidor, 1 son; Clinton Joel Brown of Vidor, 5 grandchildren; Lori Lawhon and her husband Duane, Debbie Bair-Watkins and her husband Jeff, Todd Brown and his wife Heather, Tiffany Bell and her husband Daryl and Ty Brown. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; Krystle, Rylie, Reagan, Reese, Logan, Cortney, Avery, Emma, Ashton, Taylor, Katy, and Bailee and 4 great-great grandchildren; Kenedee, Kaden, Rachel and Jackson. She was preceded in death by her husband; Luther Lee Brown, 4 sisters and 5 brothers.
