Vanice "Bubba" H. Lott

Vanice "Bubba" H. Lott, 66, of Brookeland, TX died Friday, June 7th, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. A native of Jasper, TX he formerly lived in Vidor, TX before making his home in Brookeland for the past 17 years. Bubba served his country in the U.S. Navy during Viet Nam. He was a member of the NRA and enjoyed hunting, fishing, riding and working on motorcycles. He was a true outdoorsman but he especially enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 12, 2019 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Funeral services will be Thursday, June 13, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Lott Cemetery in Hemphill, TX at 1:30 p.m. Bubba is survived by his loving wife of 49 years; Jean Lott, 2 daughters; Tammie Parkerson of Vidor and Danielle Hodges and her husband Victor, also of Vidor, 4 grandchildren; Kristal Parkerson, Madeson Parkerson, Lendzae Parkerson and Nicolis Hodges. He is also survived by 4 great grandchildren; Aspenn Parkerson, Korbyn Horton, Kymlee Horton, and Ava Sampson, 2 sisters; Dalpha Hodges and her husband Frank and Melody Randall and her husband Roy along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. There is also many extended family members. Bubba was preceded in death by his parents; Herman and Emmie Lee Lott, 1 son; Matt Lott, and 1 great granddaughter; Jaylee Theal.
