Tommy Moyer

Tommy Moyer, 79, of Vidor, TX died Wednesday, January 16th, 2019 at his home surrounded by family. A native of Kansas City, MO, Tommy worked for McCormick spice company as a salesman for many years where he later retired. During his spare time he liked working with wood and restoring vintage vehicles. He also enjoyed going to the gym to workout and spending time with his friends at the coffee club. Tommy was also known to enjoy playing pool. A memorial service will be on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Tommy is survived by his wife Myrna Moyer of 59 years, 1 son; Michael Moyer and his wife Aimee of Austin, TX, 1 daughter; Tippi Barela and her husband Joe of Cove, TX, 4 granddaughters; Ashley, Jordan, Chloe, and Phoebe and 1 great granddaughter; Lilly. He is also survived by 1 brother; Frank Moyer, 2 sisters; Judy Popejoy and Sharon Ferdinand, numerous nieces and nephews and "Hobo" the cat. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
