Tommy Lee Stringer

Tommy Stringer, 66, of Vidor died Wednesday, October 21st, 2015 at his residence. a native of Lufkin, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Tommy was retired from the US Postal Office and served his country in the US Marine Corps during the Vietnam Conflict. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Monday, October 26, 205 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Sunday, October 25, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home. Tommy is survived by his sisters Gaye Kettl of Lumberton, TX, Brenda Brumley of Lumberton, TX, Sharon Chambers of Houston, TX, Terry Bourque of Port Arthur, TX, brothers Ronald Stringer of Hot Springs, AR and Earl Rhodes of Nederland, TX, 2 grandchildren Kelly Guarnere and katie Bentsen both of Vidor, TX. He is preceded in death by his wife Martha Dell Stringer, son Brian Stringer, sisters Karen Singelton and Diane Rhodes.
