Tim "Pop" Michael Mcfarland, Sr.

Tim "Pop" McFarland, Sr., 75, died Thursday, March 3rd, 2016 in Beaumont. He was a lifelong resident of the Golden Triangle area and served his country in the U.S. Navy. Tim was a member of B.F. Quicksall Lodge #1370, A.F. & A.M. and loved cars, fishing, hunting, playing golf. He also liked nature and feeding birds but Tim was known for telling stories especially about his time in the Navy. Visitation will be Sunday, March 6, 2016 beginning at 6:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.. Funeral services will be Monday, March 7, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Home with interment to follow at Del Rose Cemetery in Vidor. Tim is survived by his loving wife, Theresa McFarland of 54 years, 1 daughter, Donna Pierce and husband Eric of Austin, TX, 3 sons, Tim McFarland, Jr. and wife Stacy of Buna, TX, Daniel McFarland of New York, and Sean McFarland and his significant other, Veronica Jenkins of Vidor. He is also survived by his 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren, a niece, Holly Hlavace and his loving dog "Chong". Tim was preceded in death by his brother, T-Joe McFarland.
