Thomas "Tom" Joseph Hanlon Sr.

Tom Hanlon, 76, of Mauriceville died Sunday, December 20, 2015 at his residence. A native of Pittsburgh, PA, he was a longtime resident of Mauriceville. Tom was a member of Central Baptist Church in Vidor and was a member of the Iron Workers Local Union #135 for 45 years. He was a dedicated family man and was an avid fisherman and camper. Tom served his country in the US Navy. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 23, 2015 at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. Tom was preceded in death by his beloved granddaughter Christina Adams and daughter-in-law Shannon Hanlon. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Carolyn Hanlon of Mauriceville, TX, sons Thomas Hanlon Jr of Vidor, TX, Chad Lemons and his wife Tammy od Mauriceville, TX, daughters Trudy Garrison and her husband Sam of Mauriceville, TX, Cindy Rutledge and her husband Ricky of Vidor, TX, Brandy Yellott of Vidor, TX, brothers Bob Hanlon of Pittsburgh, PA, Matt Hanlon of Vernon, PA, sisters Peggy Massimino of Bridgeville, PA, and Ruth Baron of Pittsburgh, PA, grandchildren Jana, Dwayne, Rickey Taylor, Tom, Tonya, Jonathan, Chealsey, Keith, Kayla, Mark, Amber, Clayton, Hannah, Derick, Anna, Alisa and Britney, by love Justin Journeay, Jacob and Branden Jones, 13 great grandchildren and lots of other family and friends.
