A native of Center, Texas he lived in Vidor for the the past 23 years. Thomas served his country in the U.S. Navy as a Aircraft-Engine Mechanic and recieved the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal for Viet Nam. He was a member of the Vidor Assembly of God Church, masonic lodge #1420, DAV and Paralyzied Veterans.
