Theresa Estelle Reed

We were blessed with Theresa Estelle Reed on August 2, 1974, she went home to be with the Lord on April 10, 2005, after a couragous struggle with illness. Waiting with open arms was her grandmother, Mary Hawn. She lived in Lumberton, Texas for 11 years with her loving husband, Tracey Vernon Reed and 2 wonderful children, Sara Lauren Reed, age 13 and Jacob Allen Reed, age 7. Her grateful mother, Deborah McHenry and grandfather, David Allen Hawn. She will be missed by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and other other relatives. Theresa’s greatest joy was loving her family as a giving and loving, wife, mother and daughter. She was always quick to smile and willing to listen. Through her efforts to overcome her illness during her life she gave definition to perseverance. Truly she will be missed and many hearts ache because of our great loss, but rejoice at having been blessed with this sweet angle in our lives. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 13, 2005 at Faith Baptist Church in Vidor, under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2005 at Memorial Funeral Home.
