Thad Lee Davis

Thad Lee Davis, 49, of Vidor, TX died Monday, May 7th, 2018 at his home. A native of Pt. Arthur, TX he was a longtime resident of Vidor who worked at EPS for 25 years. He liked fishing and story telling and was known as being a jokester. Thad always had a smile on his face. He was very outgoing and never met a stranger. He loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. A Celebration of Life will be Thursday, May 10, 2018 from 5:30p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Turning Point Church with dedications beginning at 6:30 p.m. Thad is survived by his fiance' Danna Elder, parents; Teddy and Pat Davis and Joe and Vicky Benoit, children; Chase and Rachelle Davis, Candice and Joel Pena, Courtney and Jeremy Scheler, Beau Manuel, and Blake and Emma Manuel, siblings; Audra Davis, Vance and Anna Davis and Brittainy Davis and Austin Wilson, and grandchildren; Avery Davis, Chloe and Rylee Manuel, Austin and Clayton Proffit, Raylee Scheler, Aiden, Sofia, and Mila Pena. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; Lurcie and Anna Nunez and Dorothy and Wesley Bowles, and Grandfather; Amos Davis. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to CCA in Thad's memory.
