Terry Mellie Whipple, 45, of Vidor died Friday, July 4, 2008 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. A native of Granite, IL, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Terry was a truck driver. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Del-Rose Cemetery in Vidor. A visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. Wednesday, July 9, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home. Terry is survived by his daughter Rosemary Whipple of Morgan City, LA, step father George Syfrett of Vidor, TX, brothers Tony Whipple of MO, Eddie Whipple, Wade Syfrett and Jason Syfrett all of Vidor, TX, Ned Whipple of IL, sisters Katherine Rogers, Gladys Garza, Julie Lauderdale, and Corie Syfrett all of Vidor, TX, Holly Slaton of Willis, TX.
