Terry Dean Humberson, a skilled painter and lifelong resident of Vidor, Texas, passed away on Monday, May 6th, 2024, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. He was 66 years old. Born and raised in Vidor, Terry dedicated his life to his craft as a self-employed painter. His talent graced many homes and businesses throughout the community, leaving behind a legacy of artistic beauty. In his leisure time, Terry found solace in the great outdoors, indulging in his passions for fishing and hunting. These pursuits brought him joy and allowed him to connect with nature in profound ways. Terry will be dearly missed and fondly remembered by his children, Heath Humberson of Niceville, FL, and Tiffany Callender of Chattanooga, TN. He is also survived by his siblings: Shirley Brendley of Starks, LA, Brenda Willis, Michael Dewayne Humberson, David Timothy Humberson, and Susie Manning, all of Vidor, TX. Additionally, Terry leaves behind 8 grandchildren Payton, Dalton, Carson, Ethan, Layne, Noah, Nolan and Nova, many nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends whose lives he touched with his warmth and kindness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Samuel Lee Humberson Sr. and Imogene Tubbs Humberson, as well as his brothers Samuel Humberson Jr., Johnny Humberson, Gary "Bit" Humberson, Marion 'Bubba" Humberson, and his daughter, Misty Ford. Terry also mourned the loss of his nephew, Tom Bonin, who preceded him in death. Terry Dean Humberson's departure leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew him, but his memory will continue to live on in the lives he touched and the art he created. May he rest in peace.
