Sylvia L. Warner, 75, of Vidor died Friday, March 14, 2008 at Memorial Hermann Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Newton, she has lived in Vidor for 4 years, and was a retired nurse with Newton County Hospital in Newton, TX. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, March 17, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at 2:00 p.m. at Newton City Cemetery in Newton TX. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, March 17, 2008 at Memorial Funeral Home. She was preceded in death by her daughters Brenda Arcuvia, and Charlene Warner. She is survived by her son Carl E. Warner of Buna, daughters Shirley Sellers of Bridge City, Jossie Lovell of Mauriceville, and Carolyn Pommier of Vidor, sister Ruthie Ward of Newton, fifteen grandchildren, and twenty-four great grandchildren, her special friend Homer Young, and his children Charles Young, Randy Young, an Margaret Naquin all of Vidor.
