Sylvia "Junie" Lejune Watts

Sylvia "Junie" Watts, 80 of Jasper died Sunday, October 31st, 2021 at Jasper Medical Center. She was a longtime resident of Vidor before moving to Jasper a couple of years ago. Junie was a member of Ebeneezer Baptist Church in Jasper and was a homemaker. She loved to dance to the oldies and play with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Junie also enjoyed traveling. Visitation will be held from 12:00 - 2:00 pm and the funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm Thursday, November 11, 2021 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Junie was preceded in death by her daughters Tammy Carter and Sabrina Carter, sister LaVern Williamson. She is survived by her brothers Johnny Strange and wife Betty of Jasper, TX, Ray Strange and wife Susan of Jasper, TX, sister Wanda Hernandez of Port Arthur, TX, 3 grandchildren: Sheena Rogers, Chase Windewehen, Alisa Clark and 7 great grandchildren.
