Linda Susan Burge, formerly of Vidor but later of Sandpoint, ID, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024. She was a devoted member of the Church of the Nazarene. Before her stroke in 2009, Susan was an avid crafter, particularly enjoying genealogy with her friend Danny Glenn, Aunt Addie, and her mother.
During her time at the nursing home in Sandpoint, Susan found joy in activities like bingo and long conversations with fellow residents, earning her the endearing nickname "angel" for her patience. She cherished ice cream socials, fall leaf excursions, and various trips arranged by Lifecare, especially to see the elk and llamas on local farms.
The chaplain at Lifecare was deeply influenced by Susan's gentle spirit and unwavering faith in Jesus, which inspired him to pursue his calling. She is survived by her sister Judy Burge Hare of Oldtown, ID, and five great nieces and nephews: Madeline, Nathaniel, and Luna Parisot of Spokane, WA, Zoe Boughan of Melrose, NM, and Anthony Boughan of Chattaroy, WA. Susan's memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
