Steven Gilbert Blackman

Steven G. Blackman, 38 of Vidor died Saturday, June 2nd, 2018 in Vidor. A native of Orange, TX, he was a longtime resident of Vidor. Steven was an IT Technician and enjoyed reading and political debates. He also enjoyed ATV/Off Road Sports, shooting guns and video games. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor with cremation to follow. Steven was preceded in death by his mother Sharon Anthony and aunt Roxanne Anthony. He is survived by his daughter Katie Blackman of Beaumont, TX, father and step mother Norman and Cathy Blackman of Vidor, TX, brother Jason Ponder of Vidor, TX, sister Stephanie Ponder of Orange, TX, grandmother Virginia Mills of Vidor, TX, niece Kayla Ponder of College Station, TX, uncle and aunt Jeff and Rita Bailey of Garland, TX and numerous cousins.
