Stephen "Steve" Lyle

Steve Lyle, 62 of Orange died Tuesday, August 20th, 2019 at Cornerstone Critical Care Hospital in Houston, Texas. A native of Indianapolis, Indiana, he was a longtime resident of Vidor before moving to Orange 1 1/2 years ago. Steve was a member of Meadows Church of Christ in Beaumont. He was a truck driver for Buna Electric for 20 years. He loved kids and animals. Steve served his country in the U.S. Army. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 pm Friday, August 23, 2019 at Meadows Church of Christ in Beaumont. Steve is survived by his daughter Bobbie Jo Lyle of Orange, TX, son Johnathan Lyle and Bart Kemp both of Lumberton, TX, sisters Mary J. Baker of Bowling Green, KY, Pat Pace of Beaumont, TX, Wanda Gonzales of Silsbee, TX, Ellie Appleby-Murphy of Buna, TX, Joanie Vacker of Beaumont, TX, 6 grandchildren Aubrey Burch, Adalynn Burch, Parker Lyle, Jackson Lyle, Harper Kemp and Codi Kemp.
