Shane Sellers, 28, of Vidor died Sunday, February 11, 2007 at his residence. A native of Beaumont, he was a longtime resident of Vidor and was a operator with Exxon-Mobil F.C.C. Unit in Beaumont, TX. Shane was on the president’s list while attending Brazos Port College and graduated in 2002 with a degree in process technology, and also graduated in 2000 from LIT with an associates degree in process technology. Funeral Liturgy outside mass will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 15, 2007 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 14, 2007, and a Christian Vigil to begin at 7:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home. He is survived by his father and step mother Stephen and Nancy Sellers of Vidor, and mother and step-father Deborah and Travis Talbert of Vidor, brothers Chris Kingrea of Pearland, and Brandon Smith of Groves, sisters Marissa Sellers of Vidor, and Madeline Griffin of Austin, TX., and Lauralee Soileau of Groves, TX. A special quote from Shane: “All of us one day or another will face a major crisis in our lives. Someone who will learn and grow from the crisis is an exceptional person.”
