Simon Springer

Simon Springer, 89, of Vidor died Wednesday, January 21, 2004 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont, TX. A native of Groninigen, Holland he has lived in Vidor since 1955, and was a General Superintendent for Arthur G. McKee International Contractors out of Cleveland, Ohio for 40 years. Funeral services will be Sunday, January 25, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor, TX. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, 2004 at Memorial Funeral Home. Simon is survived by his loving wife of 53 years Mary, son, Robert Springer of Houston, TX., daughter, Diane Jones of Vidor, sister, Kay Tabias of Ontario, Canada, three grandchildren, Eric Springer, Nathan Jones, and Julie Jones, and one great grandchild Randi Cherie Matlock.
