Shirley Singeltary

Shirley Singeltary, 93 of Beaumont passed away July 3rd, 2018. She was born to Augustus and Annette Stansbury on October 17, 1924in Plaquemine, Louisiana. She was involved in the travel business for many years in Beaumont and Houston. She is survived by one son Larry Mills and his wife Maryann of Beaumont, one grandson Brian Mills and his wife Karen of Beaumont, one granddaughter Lori Smith and her husband Greg of Baton Rouge, four great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Mills, Molly Mills, Hannah Smith, Hallie Smith and a sister Jean Anderson of Gunter, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband Dalton Singeltary, mother Annette O'Donnell, brother Herman Stansbury, brother Hugh O'Donnell and granddaughter Kelly Ann Mills. A graveside service will be held Monday, July 9, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor. The family wishes to thank the staff of Brookdale Dowlen Oaks for the wonderful care they provided to Shirley for almost four years.
