Shirley L. Melvin

Shirley L. Melvin, 75, of Vidor, TX died Friday, April 20th, 2018 in Silsbee, TX. A native of Paducah, KY she was a longtime resident of Vidor and formerly attended Pine Forest Baptist Church. She liked reading and doing cross-stitch sewing. Shirley is survived by her daughter; Cynthia Henry and her husband David of Vidor, 1 grandson; Adam Hall and his wife Amy also of Vidor, 2 sisters; Brenda Housden of Lumberton, TX and Karen Ali Frost of Paducah, KY. Shirley was preceded in death by a son; Anthony Weaver and 3 brothers; Robert Housden, Richard Housden and Willie Joe Housden. A graveside memorial service with interment will be Thursday, May 3, 2018 at 12:00p.m. at Restlawn Memorial Park. Cremation arrangements were entrusted to Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor.
