Shirley Jane Minchew

Shirley J. Minchew, 74, of Vidor died Monday, August 27, 2012 at Trinity Rehab and Retirement Center in San Augustine, TX. She was a native and a lifelong resident of Vidor. Shirley was a retired waitress and a homemaker. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am Thursday, August 30, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Walles Cemetery in Orangefield. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Wednesday, August 29, 2012 at Memorial Funeral Home. Shirley is survived by her sons Tony Summers of Woodville, TX, Matt Summers of Bakersfield, CA, Joseph Summers of Abilene, TX, daughters Vanessa Chesser of Vidor, TX, Zina Herrington of Henderson, TX, Tisha Armentrout of Vidor, TX, brother Carol Wallace of Kirbyville, TX, 15 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
