Shirley Lee Doyle, 83, of Orange, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 5th, 2024, at her residence. Born in the beautiful state of Minnesota, Shirley was a beacon of warmth and kindness, enriching the lives of everyone she met. A longtime resident of Vidor, she was raised in the charming town of South Haven, MI, where she cultivated a deep love for community and family.
Shirley and her loving husband Joe Doyle Sr were married for more than 50 years. She was a self-employed hairdresser whose skill and creativity brought joy and confidence to her many clients. Shirley was the proud owner of Beauty Boutique in Vidor, a beloved local establishment where she not only styled hair but also created a welcoming haven for friends and neighbors to gather and share their lives.
Her greatest passion was spending time with her family, cherishing every moment and creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love. Shirley's home was always open, a place where everyone felt welcome and cared for.
Shirley is survived by her loving children: Joe Doyle Jr and his wife Sherri of San Leon, TX; Angela Odom and her husband Brett of Orange, TX; and Tracey Davis and her husband Evan of Beaumont, TX. Her legacy continues through her devoted sisters: Ilene King of Columbus, OH; Linda Zonyk of South Haven, MI; Shelia Beck of South Haven, MI; Carol Marr of Bangor, MI; and Rhoda Wallace of South Haven, MI. She also leaves behind 7 adoring grandchildren: Karra Purvis and her husband Wesley of Livingston, TX; Garrett Doyle and his wife Salinda of Livingston, TX; Lauren Chapman and her husband Ryan of Port Neches, TX; Logan Gould of Spring Lake, NC; CJ Odom of Fort Myers, FL; Annie Hart and her husband Dusten of Beaumont, TX; William Davis of Frisco, TX; numerous great-grandchildren, and 1 precious great-great-grandchild, all of whom were the light of her life. She is preceded in death by her husband Joe where they will rest together forever in peace.
Shirley's radiant spirit, generosity, and unwavering love for her family and friends will be deeply missed. Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew her, and her influence will continue to inspire and uplift future generations.
