Shelby Jean Sorrell

Shelby Jean Sorrell, 79, of Vidor died Tuesday, October 4th, 2016 at Baptist Hospital of Southeast Texas in Beaumont. A native of Mayfield, Kentucky, she was a longtime resident of Vidor. Shelby enjoyed fishing, sewing and making goodie bags for grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm Saturday, October 8, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor, with burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park in Vidor. Visitation will begin at 6:00 pm Friday, October 7, 2016 at Memorial Funeral Home. Shelby is survived by her sons David Reeves of Paris, TN and Douglas Reeves of Hemphill, TX, sisters Carolyn Joyce Stalls of Vidor, TX, Peggy June Root of Lumberton, TX and Judy Eliane Forney of Buna, TX, 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
